Province gifts Christmas trees to charities

The province is in the giving spirit.

The government gave Christmas trees to three charities at Province House.

Lt.-Gov. Mike Savage presented a tree to the Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, Premier Tim Houston to New Glasgow’s Summer Street Industries, and Feed Nova Scotia received one from Agriculture Minister Greg Morrow.

The trees were donated by the Lunenburg County Christmas Tree Producers’ Association, and associations from Cobequid and the Northeast.
