Significant snowfall for N.S. and P.E.I. this weekend could affect holiday travel

If you’re getting set to travel for the holidays, be prepared for the chance of snow-covered roads in parts of the Maritimes.

Environment Canada has issued special weather statements for much of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Significant snowfall is possible beginning Friday night which could make travel difficult on Saturday.

The forecaster says it is too early to say how much snow we’ll get as small changes in the track of this storm could dramatically alter precipitation amounts.
