RCMP investigating after dead woman, unconscious man found in home

The RCMP is looking into a suspicious sudden death in Bible Hill.

Police say they were doing a wellness check at a home on Bomber Drive on Jan. 3 at about 9:30 a.m., when they found a 42-year-old woman dead and an unconscious man, according to a news release.

The man was taken to a hospital.

The Northeast Nova Major Crime Unit is leading the investigation with support from the Colchester County District RCMP, Truro Police Service, RCMP Forensic Identification Services, and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.

Police say there is no evidence in the case of any danger to the public.
