Another act has been announced for the upcoming Sommo Festival to be held in Cavendish, PEI.
Multi-award-winning artist Alanis Morissette will perform on Saturday night.
She joins Hozier, who was recently announced as Sunday’s headlining act.
This will be the third annual Sommo Festival to be held September 13 and 14.
Morissette has earned seven Grammy Awards, and fifteen Juno Awards, and was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame. She also received the inaugural Billboard Canada Icon Award last year.
She has released ten albums, sold 60 million copies worldwide and continues to sell out massive arena tours across the globe.
Alanis is also known as an avid activist and advocate and a powerful role model to young female artists everywhere.
