A Halifax police officer is facing charges for harassing a woman he knew.
It allegedly happened between September and October of 2023, according to a news release from the Serious Incident Response Team.
SiRT got the tip on May 8th of last year.
Detective Constable Robert Baird was charged today with two counts of criminal harassment.
He will appear in court in March.
Baird was also previously charged for assaulting a woman he knew between January 2020 and September 2021.
