Gas prices climb slightly in Nova Scotia

Gas prices in Nova Scotia have increased slightly after the recent overnight changes by the Utility and Review Board.

Self-serve regular gasoline has gone up by nearly 3 cents per litre, bringing the new range to $1.49 to $1.53 per litre.

Diesel prices remain unchanged, sitting between $1.61 and $1.65 per litre.

Earlier this week, Nova Scotians saw fuel prices drop significantly after the carbon tax was removed from the pumps on Monday night.

This change led to prices falling between 14 and 17 cents per litre, offering some relief to drivers across the province

For New Brunswick, the prices are $1.49 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.60 per litre for diesel and $1.50 per litre for home heating oil.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.54 per litre, diesel costs around $1.62 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.23 per litre.
