64-year-old woman charged for hate-motivated mischief in Lower Ship Harbour

A 64-year-old woman is facing one charge of hate-motivated mischief.

On March 25, the RCMP got a complaint that a Pride and Every Child Matters flag were vandalized, according to a news release from police.

Officers say the flags were at the end of a driveway on West Ship Harbour Road in Lower Ship Harbour.

Police released a photo of the suspect and as a result, a woman was arrested on Sunday.

She was released and will appear in court next month.
