Another armed robbery in the valley, this time at a grocery store with one person injured.
RCMP say it happened Wednesday afternoon on Commercial Street in Middleton.
A man with a knife assaulted an employee and then ran away.
He is described as being in his 20’s, wearing a blue-plaid jacket, light-coloured sweatpants, black Addidas sneakers and a mask.
Police have found the jacket and sneakers.
This incident follows three other armed robberies in Middleton recently, but they are not confirmed to be related.
RCMP warn of a heavy police presence while they search for the suspect and ask the public to avoid Commercial Street while they do their work.
