Detours in place after collision closes part of Highway 103

A section of Highway 103 is closed after a motor vehicle collision Sunday evening.

RCMP posted about the closure at 6:28 p.m., saying the highway is closed in both directions between Exit 16 in Middlewood and Exit 17 in Mill Village.

Drivers should expect delays, but detours are in place to help traffic keep moving, according to police.

Police say the road is expected to stay closed for several hours.

Officials haven’t released further details about the crash yet.
