Adam Drake found guilty for stabbing murder of Pat Stay

A jury has found Adam Drake guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Pat Stay.

Stay was a prominent battle rapper from Dartmouth. He was 36 years old when he was stabbed at the Yacht Club Social in Halifax on Sept. 4, 2022. He later died in hospital.

The jury of 12 people took less than 24 hours to reach the guilty verdict.

Drake was initially charged with first-degree murder but that was later changed.
