A 28-year-old man is dead after a truck crashed in Crousetown near the south shore.
The RCMP says they got a call at about 3:30 p.m. on Thursday about a single vehicle crash on Italy Cross Road, about 18 kilometres south of Bridgewater.
Police found a Ram 3500 truck left the road and landed upside down in the water of Wallace Brook, according to a news release.
The 28-year-old man from Middlewood was the only person in the truck at the time. He died at the scene.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation continues.
Italy Cross Road was closed for a few hours but has since reopened.
Correction: A previous version of this story said a woman was killed in the crash. In fact, the victim was a man.
