A man from the HRM died in a crash in Lunenburg County.
The 34-year-old driver from Middle Sackville was pronounced dead at the scene late Thursday morning in Petite Riviere on Italy Cross Road.
It was a single-vehicle crash, the passenger, a 32-year-old Burlington, Ontario woman suffered life-threatening injuries, and a dog that was riding in the car was found dead..
The road was closed for several hours through the day, but has since re-opened.
