2 from Ontario injured in Hwy 104 collision

A two-vehicle collision involving a car and motorcycle in Antigonish County sent two people to hospital.

The RCMP says it happened on Highway 104 near Linwood between exits 37 and 38 just before 5 p.m. Sunday.

The 58-year-old male motorcycle driver and the 60-year-old female passenger on the bike, both from Ontario, were injured and transported to hospital.

According to police, the 79-year-old man driving the car and his 73-year-old female passenger from Connecticut did not report injuries.

The highway was closed for several hours.

Several witnesses have provided information and dashcam footage to police investigators.
