UPDATE: Classes expected to resume at Dalhousie September 23

Dalhousie students should be back in class next week.

The university board and faculty association reached a tentative agreement Monday night, ending a months-long labour dispute.

If the deal is ratified Wednesday, DFA members will be back to work on Thursday, with classes resuming on Tuesday, September 23.

The university says decisions on fall break and December exam schedules still need to be approved.

Faculty were locked out nearly a month ago, bargaining between the two sides picked up over the last week.
