Man dies in motorcycle-truck crash in Lucasville

A 35-year-old motorcyclist has died in a two-vehicle collision in Lucasville.

RCMP say just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, crews responded to a report that a motorcycle and pick-up truck collided at the intersection of Waterstone Run and Lucasville Road.

Police say witnesses and other emergency responders attempted life-saving measures, but the driver of the motorcycle, a Lucasville man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 67-year-old Hammonds Plains man driving the truck was not hurt.

Police say the road was closed for several hours before reopening shortly after midnight.

The crash investigation continues.
