Lots of wet snow coming for Monday morning

Your Monday morning might have a lot of messy wet snow.

Environment Canada is calling for 15 to 25 cm for most of the province, except for

Snow will start falling in some places Sunday evening, while others will start with rain.

They say once the temperature gets a bit colder by mid-evening, it should switch to snow, but it will still only hover around zero in a lot of places. That means the wet, dense, and heavy snow that’s hard to clear off of the car by hand.

Some outages are possible.

The weather will quickly get better Monday morning, they say.

Halifax has announced the overnight parking ban is in effect. That means you won’t be able to park your car on the road from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. to give plows space to clear the streets.
