Thousands Without Power As Storm Blows Through N.S.

Over 60,000 Nova Scotia Power customers are in the dark across the province this morning.

A late-fall storm is hitting us with wind gusts over 90 kilometres an hour, and heavy downpours.

Rainfall and wind warnings remain in effect in most areas.

Conditions are expected to improve through the day.

Many students are already off today because it’s a scheduled PD Day.

For remaining schools, power outages are possible.

You should keep an eye on updates through your local Regional Centre for Education.
