An emergency alert was issued in Shelburne County.
This after a report of gun shots in Lower Clark’s Harbour around 7 p.m.
Police were on Centreville Southside Road, and secured the area.
RCMP issued a dangerous person alert for 52-year old Steven Edward Goreham, and revealed that he was believed to have a firearm.
Just after midnight, police tweeted that a suspect had been taken into custody safely, and there were no injuries.
They say officers are continuing the investigation.
