It will be a party in downtown Halifax to ring in the New Year!
The city is inviting residents to Grand Parade for it’s New Year’s Eve festivities.
The free event will have DJ sets by OKAY TK, and Meg B as well as live music headlining Juno Winner for Rock Album of the Year, JJ Wilde.
Amazon’s Breakthrough Artist of the month, Devon Cole, will also perform.
To make transportation easy, Halifax Transit is offering free bus and ferry services starting at 6pm.
There will also be a live TV Broadcast on Eastlink and Halifax has been chosen as one of the key cities to participate in CBC’s National broadcast, which will be around 9:30pm to 10:15pm.
There will be a grand fireworks finale to end the night at 12:30am.
