The RCMP Provincial Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Middleton man for child pornography.
Between January and October of last year, Investigators received information from the National Child Exploitation Crime Centre about child pornography being shared on social media.
Yesterday, after executing a search warrant, RCMP say the suspect was arrested at home. Investigators were assisted by the RCMP Digital Forensic Services Unit, Annapolis District RCMP, Annapolis District RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit and Kings District RCMP.
He’s been released on conditions that he not enter playgrounds, schools, swimming pools, daycares or anywhere a person under the age of 18 could be.
The suspect is expected in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on March 6.
