Update: Halifax RCMP arrest two after stabbing in Cole Harbour

The Halifax District RCMP are investigating a stabbing in Cole Harbour.

Yesterday around 1:29 p.m., police and EHS responded to a report of a stabbing on Cole Harbour Rd., learning a 21-year-old man had been stabbed.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance with life-threatening-injuries.

Police say the victim came into a retail business and was shortly followed in by another man who then exited the business only to return with a woman. The man then stabbed the victim and he and the woman immediately left fleeing in a vehicle they arrived in. They do not believe the act to be random.

Two people have been arrested in relation to the stabbing.

A 26 year old man and a 19 year old woman will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court Tuesday, January 31.
