Arrests in the 2021 homicide of Andrew Carter Morris in Eskasoni.
A 34-year old woman and 33-year old man have been charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery.
RCMP say the pair were arrested at a home on 74th Street in the community yesterday (Wednesday.)
The home caught fire during the arrests, and the cause is under investigation.
Both are still in custody awaiting their first appearance in court.
Morris was found dead on Beach Road in Eskasoni a year and a half ago, and RCMP ruled his death a homicide.
Police thank community members for assisting in the investigation, and hope they can now get closure.
