RCMP investigating theft from N.S. mass shooting memorial

The husband of a woman killed in the Nova Scotia Mass shooting is looking for information after a theft at his wife’s memorial and he’s willing to pay cash for it.

Nick Beaton shared on Facebook that two 18-foot steel beams used as a bridge were taken from the site that was dedicated to his wife and another woman.

The memorial was created for Kristen Beaton and Heather O’Brien. The memorial is located in Debert at Heart’s Haven Memorial Park.

Our newsroom contacted RCMP about the alleged incident. They say they are continuing to investigate.
