A 17-year-old is dead after a head-on crash that occurred in New Ross.
It happened shortly after 1 a.m. on Highway 12.
The teen killed in crash is from Chester Grant. A 20-year-old man from New Ross, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Four others including a 26-year-old man, and three passengers, a 28-year-old woman, a 28-year-old man and a 25 year-old woman, suffered injuries and were transported to hospital by ambulance.
An investigation is ongoing into the crash.
Highway 12 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
