Power outages from Lee cause school closures on the south shore

A number of schools are closed on the south shore today after Post-Tropical Storm Lee, due to power outages.

There are still over 22,000 without power across the province.

The South Shore Regional Centre for Education says schools that are affected include:

Petite Riviere Elementary School, Newcombe Village elementary, Wickwire Academy, Greenfield elementary, Verge House, Pre-primary at Lunenburg academy, with a decision on PVEC made by 7am.
