P.C. staffer’s social media hacked

The Progressive Conservative Party says the social media account of one of its staffers was hacked.

On Monday, antisemitic comments were posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, to the account of Nargis Demolitor, Special Advisor to the provincial Immigration Minister.

According to multiple reports, the premier’s office says a member of the PC Party has been identified as the individual who accessed the account and they have been removed.

After the post was deleted, Demolitor posted that her account was hacked and information was tweeted without her knowledge, along with an apology.

The PC’s have said the individual in question was not an employee of the party, caucus or government.
