2-vehicle crash closes Hwy 103 for hours

A two-vehicle collision shut down part of Hwy 103 in Lunenburg County for several hours.

At about 9:45 a.m. Sunday, RCMP posted on X, formerly Twitter, that the crash happened in Clearland, prompting the closure between Exits 10 and 11.

Crews from the Mahone Bay Fire Department and surrounding areas were dispatched to the scene.

No word on injuries, but it was reported that LifeFlight attended the crash scene.

In an update, the Mounties said the highway reopened just before 3:30 p.m.
