Reward offered in 2020 murder of Donnie Lohnes in Lunenburg County

The Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit continues to investigate a homicide that happened three years ago in Lunenburg County.

RCMP say on October 25th, 2020, 57-year-old Donald Derrick Lohnes was attacked near a home on Jippie Avenue in Pine Grove.

He was transported to hospital where he died of injuries sustained in the attack about a week later.

The Donnie Lohnes murder case has been added to the Nova Scotia Reward for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in certain cases.
