N.S. Sport Hall of Fame Induction

The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame has inducted its 2023 class.

The 4 athletes enshrined on the weekend at a sold-out event in Halifax were Stanley Cup and Calder Cup winner Joe DiPenta, 3-time NAIG Gold Medalist and 2006 Open World Taekwondo champion Sara-Lynne Knockwood, former Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team member Suzanne Gerrior, and 3-time AUS M-V-P and 1973 Vanier Cup Champion Bill Robinson.

The Sport Hall also welcomed the 1993 Acadia Axemen CIAU Championship-winning men’s hockey team, and as builders – legendary women’s soccer coach John Kehoe and longtime sport journalist-promoter-volunteer, the late Joel Jacobson.

More on the November 25th ceremony and the inductees here.
