Cape Breton Regional Police have found a dead body who they believe may be Jackie Davies.
The body was in a remote rural area off Birch Point Rd in South Cove. Nearby, there was a parked vehicle confirmed to be Davies’.
Ground search and rescue and a helicopter were called to assist around 3:30pm. No foul play is indicated.
Police say had video where he was seen at a business on Keltic Drive in Sydney River near the Sydport exit around 5:30pm Monday.
An Emergency Alert Tuesday afternoon looking him.
He was seen leaving his home on Mary Street in Glace Bay at noon, December 11th.
The body has been given to Medial Examiners Office to identify.
