A Blockhouse man is facing a list of charges after holding someone at gun point.
At 11 p.m. Friday night, Lunenburg District RCMP responded to a report of a man pointing a firearm at someone at a residence in Blockhouse.
Police arrived on the scene and successfully negotiated with the man to exit the residence.
They arrested him without incident, and numerous weapons were seized from the home.
The individuals were known to each other, and no injuries were reported.
A 19-year-old Blockhouse man from was released from custody on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on January 22, 2020.
He is facing charges of:
· Careless Use of a Firearm
· Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
· Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
· Possession of a Firearm Knowing Possession is Unauthorized
· Uttering Threats
The investigation is ongoing.
