One Dead Following Shelburne Collision Between School Bus And Car

A Thomasville woman has died following a serious collision on Highway 3 in Shelburne County yesterday morning.

At 8:25 a.m., RCMP responded to a collision between a northbound school bus and an eastbound passenger vehicle two kilometres South of the intersection of Hwy. 103 and Hwy. 3.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 47-year-old woman from Thomasville died at the scene. There were no other passengers in her vehicle.
The driver of the bus was not injured, and no kids were on the bus.

An RCMP Collision Analyst was called to the scene to examine the evidence. Highway 3 was closed in the area for several hours and re-opened around 6:40 pm.

The investigation is ongoing.
