I Pity The Fool – Happy April 1st

Happy April 1st!
As we enter this new month, this morning is traditionally the time that pranks are played for “April Fools Day“.
Now given the fact that everyone is dealing with so much around CoVid-19, there has been a push to cancel April Fools Day. Usually we would play a prank on Country 100.7, but I thought for this year maybe we would talk about some of the pranks that got you in the past. One of my favorites on CJHK was 9 years ago when we announced that our licence was under review and there was a push for 100.7 to become “Hard Rock Hank”. I got some bad backlash, but most got a chuckle.
Then I think back to when I did weekends on CKBW where I had an hour testing the “new technology” where you could ask your radio to play a song, I would hear the request and play it…. today we have that in a smart speaker, but not in the 90’s, haha.
Traditionally my sister is the prankster in our family and has gotten me every year I can remember, some of them really bad.
