Dartmouth homicide added to province’s rewards program

A reward of up to $150,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction for those responsible in the death of Nelson Tyrelle Beals.

The province says the 34-year-old was shot in the morning of June 11, 2022 on Viscaya Place.

Investigators believe people have information and are asking the public for help no matter how small it may seem.

Brad Johns, Attorney General and Minister of Justice says, “The Beals family has suffered a terrible loss, and they deserve closure.”

Anyone with information regarding this crime should call the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program at 1-888-710-9090. People with information who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers of Nova Scotia at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
