I have never been to the Calgary Stampede, but I have attended one of the rodeos that happens as a lead up to that main event in Panoka, Alberta. That said, I am a fan and always watched the rodeo action at the Stampede on TV. Well this year that won’t be happening. For the first time in almost a century, there will be no Calgary Stampede due to CoVid-19.

As with each new cancellation I always wonder what will be the next event on the chopping block?
Will Cavandish Music Fest actually happen, what about the Big Ex or the RMZ Cruise and Riverfest….. guess we wait and see.
