Special Olympics Curling Team Enjoying National Games

They may not have won as many games as they had hoped for but members of the Special Olympics curling team for Nova Scotia are having a good time at the Canada Winter Games in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Skip Bruce Lightle says they’re doing their best.

“We won one game so far during the whole thing, it was a tough game,” Lightle says.

The curling skip adds this is his fourth time taking part in the national games.

Team Nova Scotia is expected to play the Yukon this afternoon at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. You can follow their progress by clicking HERE.

The national games wrap up tomorrow afternoon.
