On The Fifth Day, Rest… A 4 DAY WORK WEEK To Rebuild The Economy??

Recent events have forced us to be accepting of change, to say the least. But now an idea has been suggested that could potentially adjust how we work and play in a big way.
As things start to settle around the CoVid-19 pandemic, countries are shifting their focus to rebuilding the economy and one way suggested is a “shorter” work week. The idea of a four day work week became a popular topic of conversation when the New Zealand Prime Minister suggested it as a way to give their economy a needed boost.

I used to work four day weeks (10 hour days) as an employee at NSP, but not sure how it would work now that I have a family and can’t picture how working 4 days would make sense in a job like I do now. BUT the idea of a three day weekend, now that is nice, haha.
Funny to see how things change. If we look back 14 years ago, our province needed to have Sunday shopping to keep the economy strong.
