Well this is a list that is likely growing daily with everything that has been happening lately. Things you used to do and not worry about as a kid that you would never allow your child to do.
Growing up on the farm posed different “dangers” than a lot of my friends had. It meant fewer sports related injuries, but more of a chance I would get kicked by an animal. Of course my parents were “too protective” and the warnings about things like a ladder to the hayloft that I could fall off of, that was just overprotective. Until I actually fell, haha (Only hurt my pride)
I got thinking about some of the warnings I used to get when my wife contacted me yesterday. She wanted to get details on the electric fence that we have on our property, worried that the voltage could endanger our little guy. So I did the conversion on a 4 joules output and that is less than 3 volts, so all good.
But then I found the list of things parents used to do that we would never allow children to do today. Take a look:
