As we start off another week with a continued “Heat Warning”, it would be hard to argue that the Earth seems to be warming up. As the weather continues warmer, the water seems to be warming up as well. Now I am no scientist, but just looking at the facts, there also seems to be plenty of sharks in the area. Ocearch had three sharks listed in the area from this weekend alone.
Then of course there is this story from our province over the weekend in St Margarets Bay. A swimmer had his arm broke by something doctors say had ‘significant propulsion and power’.

I have always been a big fan of the ocean and always loved being in the waves and I don’t think this will keep me on dry land, but I may be looking a bit closer at what I see in the water around me.
