SunLife Poll Finds COVID-19 Having An Impact On Mental Health

A large percentage of Canadians, have seen their mental health impacted by COVID-19, that according to a recent poll by SunLife.

Of those surveyed, over 60 per cent of women said the virus is having a negative effect on their lives.

Forty-nine per cent of men said they are impacted as well.

Among the reasons, include social isolation in top spot, concerns for loved ones, a fear of getting COVID-19 and financial concerns.

Many said they weren’t getting any support to help their mental health because they couldn’t afford it, didn’t know where to get it or were embarrassed to ask for help.
