UPDATED: Highway 103 reopened, one person in hospital after three-vehicle crash

UPDATE, 12:35 p.m.: Highway 103 near the exit to Highway 102 is now reopened to traffic, Halifax Regional Police said in a Twitter update.

 

One person is in hospital with what are believed to be life threatening injuries after a three vehicle collision this morning.

Halifax Regional Police say it happened on Highway 103, near the exit to Highway 102.

Traffic is being rerouted to the Timberlea Village Parkway, Bayers Lake and St. Margaret’s Bay Road.

Highway 103 will be closed from several hours, police say.
