Police have issued an emergency alert.
New Glasgow Regional Police say they were called to a report of suspicious activity in Pictou Co. late Friday, but didn’t provide any other details.
Police originally said they were trying to find two men- Christopher MacKay and Ronald Jamieson- they later said Jamieson was in police custody, but they’re still trying to find MacKay.
They said they were searching the Main St., Maple St. and High St. areas of Trenton.
Police say Trenton residents are asked to shelter in place, lock their doors, and be vigilant.
Alert Update: The shelter in place has now been lifted but the search continues.
