A funeral has been held for a teenage homicide victim in the Halifax area.
Friends, family and community members filled the Kearney Lake Mosque to remember Ahmad Al Marrach on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old was found injured outside Halifax Shopping Centre at about 5 p.m. Monday and died later in hospital.
Two youths were arrested shortly after aboard a Halifax Transit bus near North Street, but they were released Tuesday without charges.
The police investigation continues.
