Temporary closures of Digby General’s emergency department May 2-6

The Digby General Hospital emergency department will experience some temporary closures for the rest of the week.

Nova Scotia Health says the ED will be closed from 4 p.m. Thursday and reopen Friday at 8 a.m.

It will also close at 4 p.m. Friday to reopen Monday at 8 a.m.

Call 911 if you experience a medical emergency.

For general health advice and information call 811.

Meanwhile, a mobile primary care clinic will be at the Digby & Area Health Services Centre Friday from 4:30 to 9:00 p.m.

According to NSH, drop-in clinics are also scheduled at that location for May 13th and May 17th from 4:30 to 9:00 p.m.
