31 active COVID-19 cases in Nova Scotia

Three new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia on Saturday.

Two of the cases are in the Central Zone.

One case is a close contact of a previously reported case and the other one is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.

The person is self-isolating, as required.

One case in the Eastern Zone and it’s related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.

The person is a student at StFX in Antigonish.

The student lives on campus and has been self-isolating, as required.

The province has 31 active cases.

Nova Scotia Health Authority labs completed 1,154 tests on January 8th.
