Back from the Father’s Day weekend and I think we discovered the most frustrating thing to try to do with kids yesterday… PICTURES!!
The boys get it honest as I have never been good at posing for a picture, and I think there may have been a few attempts ruined by me. But it took forever, just because “say cheese” doesn’t work for young kids. So after what seemed like days, this is what we got:
I was leafing though the photo album Mom kept for me from childhood and there are not a lot of posed pictures. Of course the ones sitting on the carpet at Sears were there, but very few like what we were trying to capture. I assumed it was because the film and the flash cubes were expensive, but maybe too many failed attempts for a pose is why. Makes sense, snap the pictures and then when the film was filled a month later, you drop it off to be developed and get something like the treasure above, haha. That might make me change tactics too.
So how do you get the pictures you want to send to the family and proudly display in your home when dealing with young children? Well the experts say “Patience and Speed”, haha.

So I guess we will keep trying and work on becoming faster on the trigger with the photo finger.
