With the smell of pumpkin spice in the air that means we are only a few sips away from colder temperatures and dare I say, winter weather?
The Farmers’ Almanac has been predicting the long range forecast since 1818 and they are batting more than 500. Their prediction is a messy and cooler winter than some of the more recent ones have been.

Yesterday I mentioned that apparently an indication of a snowy winter is foggy days in August and we have had our fair share of fog this month. So best get the shovel ready, make sure the woodshed is full and the snow blower is good working order.
