Well the woodshed is almost filled for the year. Happy to have some sunshine over the past week to look after this chore. Now the battle begins.
The longer we can wait before striking that match, the better in my mind. As for my wife, she would have had the fire burning since mid September.

So how can we decide on when to start heating for the year and find that happy place with your significant other? We need a value, a temperature when heat should be applied.
According to some experts that magic temperature is 17.8 degrees Celsius, or 64 degrees Fahrenheit. AND that is the indoor temperature, the fact that it is cold outside should not determine whether you need heat inside or not.
