Shoreham Village Suspends Family Visits

A case of COVID-19 has been identified in a worker at a long term care home in Chester.

The individual from the Central Zone is a member of a staffing agency that worked at Shoreham Village for one shift on April 24th.

In a release issued over the weekend, Shoreham Village indicated that family visiting and Designated Care Giver visits have been suspended until further notice.

They said since being notified all residents, staff and designated caregivers must undergo COVID-19 testing.

Shoreham has since released an update saying staff and residents tested on Friday are now beginning to receive test results and so far all results have been negative.
