Are you feeling festive yet? I have to admit that waking up Saturday morning to white on the ground and seeing how excited our oldest was to see snow got me looking forward to Christmas a bit more.
The Country 100.7 Toy Drive is another sign that Christmas is near. This year we are doing things a bit different to give you the most opportunity to donate a new unwrapped toy. We were on location at Canadian Tire in Bridgewater this past Saturday, but even though we are not there now, you can still donate for another full week. There is a drop box inside the main door. Fresh Cuts Market is also collecting toys this year. Any donation made at one of these two locations will give you the chance to win a $250 gift card.
Again this year the South Shore Centre is our central location where the donations are on display. You can also drop off donations there too. This coming Saturday we will be on location at Fresh Cuts and once again donations are being collected at Danny Carey’s Insurance the Cooperators in Bridgewater.
All donations collected will be distributed to those in need by the Salvation Army, thank you for supporting the Country 100.7 Toy Drive.
I found a little gift for you this morning too. A listing of Christmas programs coming up on CBC. I know there are many other stations that have holiday programming, but this list brings back memories of the days when we had two and a half channels. The third one came in fuzzy when the wind was right, haha.
